About this role

As a Chief of Staff at Picogrid, you will lead initiatives in capture, sales, engineering, and core operations. You will work independently to deliver business-critical milestones, prepare high-quality written materials, support business development activities, lead cross-team planning and manage relationships with B2B partners. We are looking for someone who brings high energy, empathy and analytical skills.

In this role, you'll

  • Lead various cross-functional projects, particularly overseeing Picogrid’s relationships with B2B and government partners.
  • Create high-quality written content such as presentations, white papers, and articles to bolster sales, marketing, and operational activities.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of Picogrid’s products, mission, and roadmap to effectively communicate how they meet the critical mission requirements of defense clients.
  • Manage project and admin tasks, including federal contract deliverables, procurement, and accounts receivable/payable.

  • You have an exceptional foundation in defense technology and an understanding of how government customers develop, procure, and sustain cutting-edge technology

  • You are proactive and take ownership, eager to launch projects and seek constructive feedback.
  • You are analytical but also a people person, adept at forming connections and understanding diverse perspectives.

Some types of experiences we're especially excited to see:

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a technical field (preferably computer science, engineering, or natural sciences) is required.
  • You are a power user of PowerPoint, Google Slides, and other productivity tools.
  • You took computer science coursework in college and/or have coded before.
  • You have at least one year of experience in Management Consulting, Business Development, or similar roles, ideally within a leading defense technology firm.
  • You possess deep market insights within the Defense and Intelligence sectors, particularly in areas such as Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2), intelligence, and tactical communications.
  • Active or eligibility to obtain a US Government Security Clearance, noting that such clearances are only granted to US citizens.
